After 15 years we have decided to end our careers as inkeepers and work on being first time grandparents. Thanks to all who have stayed with us over the years. It's been fun.

Tom & Nancy Pimentel

Welcome to Tom & Nancy Pimentel's Bed & Breakfast located on California State Highway 140 in Midpines, California.   We are 23 miles west of the entrance to Yosemite National Park  and 7 miles east of the historic goldrush town of Mariposa.

Located at an elevation of just over 2,000 feet, winter and summer temperatures in Midpines are generally mild.  Spring is wildflower season and Fall brings out the autumn colors.

Though built only ten years ago, our B&B is Victorian at heart.  Modeled after a Victorian farm house, guests can enjoy the trappings of an earlier time along with the more modern amenities of private baths, radiant floor heating and central cooling.

A full breakfast is served every morning in the dining room.  Our breakfasts feature in season fruits, garden vegetables, oatmeal pancakes, stuffed French toast and a variety of egg dishes.

Adventures abound in the local area.  The Merced river canyon is a five minute drive from the house.  Commercial rafting begins during the spring runoff and continues through early summer  for those who have a yen to run the rapids on one of California's wild and scenic rivers.  The river also offers fishermen the chance to match wits with the local trout and bass.

For the more sedentary, or those just needing a break, the town of Mariposa offers a chance to hunt for antiques, tour local galleries, explore the California State Mineral Museum, check out the local restaurants, or just wander the town streets.

The Midpines Country Store can provide basic food staples, snacks, gas and the morning paper.  The store is just a short walk from the house.

And then there is Yosemite.....

A 30 minute drive east from our house will find you at the entrance to one of the crown jewels of the National Park System.  We will be happy to offer any number of suggestions on experiencing the Park based on an intimate association dating back over forty years.

No Smoking.  Children Welcome.  Please call about small pets.
